
Teams consists of 4 players in a team (on the field) and up to maximum 3 substitutes. Companies participating with more than 1 team are not allowed to switch players from one team to another, meaning that all players are allowed to play for ONE team only.
All players in an OLD BOYS team must be at least 35 years old by commencement of the Cup on Saturday 04 February 2012, and there will not be issued any dispensation from this.
All matches are 1 leg of 6½ minutes.
We kindly (but strongly) request teams to be ready for their respective matches immediately after the previous match(es).
The winner of a match is awarded 3pts - the looser 0pts. If the result of a match is a draw, both teams are awarded 1pt.
Absence from a scheduled match equals loosing the match, and opponents are automatically awarded the victory by 3-0 and 3pts.
All matches are refereed by referees from Aalborg Fodbolddommerklub, and besides the local rules mentioned on this website, all rules from Dansk Fodbolddommer-Union covering football on small fields (with small goals) to apply.
1: No player may deliberately play the ball by hand or arm.
2: When the ball is in play, max. 3 players of a team are allowed to be in the teams own half of the field.
All doubts or questions as to the settlement of matches are exclusively handled by the tournament management and no decisions from the management can be appealed.
HAL 1: The team mentioned first in the schedule will play from the half of field situated CLOSEST to the dressing rooms, they will start with possession of the ball and also change shirts in the event, that both teams are playing in the same colors.
In qualification-matches, possession of the ball by start of the match is determined by a draw made by the referee.

If 2 or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, following criteria are applied to determine the rankings (in descending order):
a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
b) higher number of goals scored in the actual group matches.
c) higher number of goals scored totally.
Note: If the teams have not played equally number of matches this far in the competition, the team having played less matches will be awarded a number of goals corresponding to the average number of goals actually scored in played matches.
d) Penalty kicks: 4 kicks for each team. If the result after 4 kicks from both teams is still a draw, the penalty kick will continue by a shoot-out with 1 kick at a time to each team, until a winner is found.
If a qualification match after full time is a draw, the play will continue into sudden-death, without any stoppage. The referee will notify both teams during play, when entering into sudden-death time. The above rule does NOT apply, if matches are part of a qualification group.
It shall be noted, that RECHTOCUP primarily is a tournament for shipping-companies or companies close related hereto, and only employees from the companies are allowed to participate in the tournament. We however realize that some of the companies invited for the tournament are not able to register a team with own employees only, and under such circumstances it is of course allowed for these companies to join forces with other invited companies and register under a self-chosen name.
Men's teams are playing in 17 preliminary groups with 4 teams each.
Group winners in groups 1-8 qualifies for qual.match against another group winner.
The winners of these 4 qualification matches qualifies for another qual.match. Draws for these matches are already made prior to the tournament and are scheduled according to the number of the preliminary group.
The 2 winners of these 2nd qual.matches are both qualified for the final round.
Group winners in groups 9, 10 & 11 qualify for qual.group A, where the 3 teams play against each other once.
The winner of qual.group A is qualified for the final round.
Group winners in groups 12, 13 & 14 qualify for qual.group B, where the 3 teams play against each other once.
The winner of qual.group B is qualified for the final round.
Group winners in groups 15, 16 & 17 qualify for qual.group C, where the 3 teams play against each other once.
The winner of qual.group C is qualified for the final round.
Mens finals will be played as a final-group of 5 teams, all playing 4 matches.
Winner of this group is the winner of men's RECHTOCUP 2012.
Women's teams are playing in 2 preliminary groups , group 1 with 5 teams and group 2 with 4 teams.
The winner and the runner up in both groups are automatically qualified for the final round.
Womens finals will be played as a final-group of 4 teams, all playing 3 matches.
Winner of this group is the winner of women's RECHTOCUP 2012.
Old Boys teams are playing in 2 preliminary groups of 5 teams each and 1 group of 4 teams.
Winners of the 3 groups are automatically qualified for the final round.
Old Boys finals will be played as a final-group of 3 teams, all playing 2 matches.
Winner of this group is the winner of Old Boys RECHTOCUP 2012.
